Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Bruno Carvalho

Professor Bruno Carvalho is a 3rd degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt that was raised in Brazil. He was born into a martial arts family. His grandpa was a BJJ and Judo Master and passed these skills down. Bruno’s mom and 4 uncles are all BJJ Black Belts and Judo Black Belts.

From the earliest age, Bruno can remember his family competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo at the highest levels in Brazil. So naturally he began to train at a young age having his first Judo competition at age 3 years old. Since then he has went on to compete in BJJ, Judo, Wrestling, Thaiboxing and MMA.

In 2006 he received an invitation to live and teach BJJ in Stockholm, Sweden, an offer he couldn’t refuse. After Bruno visited TQT in 2014 we knew that we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to affiliate with Team Carvalho Brazilian Jiu JItsu. So in 2015 Bruno made the move to Chiang Mai, Thailand where he is currently teaching Team Carvalho Brazlian Jiu Jitsu, Grappling, and MMA. He is a vet of 100’s of BJJ tournaments and 25 professional MMA fights.

His plan is to continue to teach high level BJJ and MMA at TQT while also still staying active as a fighter on the Asian fight scene. Don’t miss this opportunity to train with one of the highest level BJJ Black Belts in the world.
